Heritage Days Western Trade FairLaura Rider is the Show Manager for the Western Trade Show during Heritage Days Stampede. She looks for exhibitors who possess a positive attitude, professionalism and who also supply great service to their clients. She especially is open to exhibitors who are from rural and small town settings. The theme base for this show is, country living, western/rodeo, agriculture, natural/organic, family, animals. One part of the Western Trade Show is located in the Curling Rink. This has room for 41 booths, sizes range from 5 x 10 to 10 x 20.
With the help from Reid Tetz of Calgary Stoneworks and Merv from The Plumbing Store in Strathmore, Laura Rider created the Sheriffs office, which is located at the entrance to the Trade Show. This photo shows a meet and greet with Chuckwagon Drivers and Outriders signing autographs for the public. Visitors to the Western Trade Show were entertained with fiddling music. Audience participated with some dancing. The second building to The Western Trade Show is the Quonset. The focus in here is Agriculture. There are 12 booth spaces available plus the kitchen is also rented out. Sizes range from 5 x 10 to 10 x 20 and irregular. |
