View Standings WPCA CPRA With more than $250,000 in prize money up for grabs, Strathmore Heritage Days Stampede – Canada's Third Largest Rodeo – gets underway July 29th through August 2nd, 2010. We’re just 25 minutes east of Calgary on the Trans Canada Highway! World, Canadian and Calgary Stampede champions are among over 400 contestants competing in six major rodeo events including: saddle bronc, bareback, bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling and ladies barrel racing. Many of these top ranked competitors and rodeo stock will also appear at both the Canadian and National Finals Rodeos. Very few small towns can pull off a rodeo of this size. A combined effort from committed individuals at the Ag. Society, volunteers, as well as a tremendous amount of support from the local community, makes this event possible year after year.
